HIV AND AIDS
Note that there is no currently cure for HIV AND AIDS but treatments and prevention methods have significantly improved the outlook for people living with HIV. The difference between HIV and AIDS HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the body's immune system, specifically the CD4 cells (a type of T cell). While AIDS stand for (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) is the most severe phase of HIV infection. HIV is transmitted through HIV can be transmitted through unprotected sexual intercourse (vaginal, anal, or oral) with an infected partner. It can be also transmitted through sharing needles, syringes, or other equipment to inject drugs with someone who has HIV, Last but not least HIV can also be transmitted from mother to child during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding.
